How Do I Reimburse Myself?

There are a few different reasons that you might pay for HSA-eligible medical expenses with out-of-pocket funds rather than paying for them with your HSA directly. In any situation, as long as the expense is eligible and your HSA was established at the time you incurred the expense, you can reimburse yourself from your HSA to claim the tax savings!

See our "Pay Yourself Back" guide below for step-by-step instructions on reimbursements through Tango.

Hi! To request a new HSA debit card, you should contact the custodian bank that you have the HSA with. If you are unsure who that bank is, give support a call and we can transfer you over and/or give you the phone number. Our support number is 866-384-8549.

Hello! You can definitely order a box of checks directly through the custodian. You can call the number on the back of your debit card or give us a call and we can transfer you to the appropriate bank from here. Our support number is 866-384-8549.
